WORSHIP & MEDIA TEAMS
The Worship ministry at Piedmont Church of the Nazarene has several components and many opportunities for participation. If you are a musician (either vocal or instrumental) or a Techie, We are always looking for more talent and want to provide opportunities for all who want to use their gifts to praise the Lord, regardless of ability level.
SUNDAY MORNING PRAISE TEAM
The Praise Team leads the congregation in worship every Sunday morning, headed up by Tim Auter (Music Director) and Donna Auter (Worship Pastor). The group consists of vocalists singing both melodies and harmonies, and various praise band instruments including, but not limited to, keyboards, guitars (acoustic, electric and bass), drums and organ.
The praise team prepares a variety of worship songs in a blended style, incorporating both ancient hymns and contemporary worship songs into a service in which all people can comfortably worship. They practice onSunday morning at 8:30am.
MEDIA TEAM
Piedmont Nazarene is blessed to have quality sound, recording, and video resources.
These systems have been designed to enhance worship for everyone involved. Services are recorded for distribution online to pastors, missionaries and laypeople worldwide.
Significant training is usually required before becoming involved, but opportunities exist for a wide variety of experiences.
REQUIREMENTS FOR JOINING:
Must be at least 13 years old.

WORSHIP TEAM:
Membership requires some experience singing/playing with other groups and the ability to read music.
​
Audition may be required. Must be able to attend the Sunday morning practice at 8:30am on weeks you are performing.
MEDIA TEAM:
Membership requires at least basic computer skills and decent hearing and willingness to learn and to be ability to multi task in case of running media booth alone.
